Understanding the Six ADR Driver Pro Training Routes

9 August 2026 · ADR Driver Pro Team

ADR revision becomes much easier to organise when the question bank follows the route you are actually studying. ADR Driver Pro therefore starts with six selectable routes instead of showing all 1,820 questions as one undifferentiated list.

The six route choices

The app contains three general routes and three specialist routes:

Route Sections available Unique questions
Packages Core, Packages, Common Characteristics and selected class groups 1,215
Tanks Core, Tanks, Common Characteristics and selected class groups 1,300
Packages & Tanks Core, Packages, Tanks, Common Characteristics and selected class groups 1,430
Explosives Core and Class 1 560
Radioactive Core and Class 7 530
Explosives & Radioactive Core, Class 1 and Class 7 740

These totals are calculated from the app’s route manifests. A section’s Mock Test repeats that section’s practice questions as a union, so it is deliberately excluded from the unique-question count.

How Group A and Group B work

Packages, Tanks and Packages & Tanks support an additional class-group selection. Group A contains Classes 2, 3, 6 and 8. Group B contains Classes 4, 5 and 9. At least one group remains selected.

This makes the visible syllabus more focused without copying or weighting questions. The app activates the existing class sections that belong to the chosen group and loads the matching route manifest immediately.

The specialist Explosives and Radioactive routes do not use Group A or Group B. Their route composition is fixed around Core and the relevant specialist class.

What sits inside a section

Each section is divided into authored practice topics. You can choose a practice count from 10 to 50 questions, use flash-card mode, or run the section’s 35-question revision mock. Questions and answers can be randomised, while results, history and bookmarks help you return to weak areas.

The 35-question mock is an app revision mode. It should not be read as a claim about the current official examination format or pass mark. Always confirm the format of your own training and examination with the approved provider.

A practical way to plan revision

  1. Select the exact route and class group you are taking.
  2. Work through the practice topics in one section before running its mock.
  3. Use flash cards for quick recall and the normal quiz mode for answer review.
  4. Revisit the history screen instead of judging readiness from one score.
  5. Keep official course material and current provider instructions as the final authority.
